Jack is just a normal kid until he encounters a mysterious book on his bookshelf. Every day, he opens the book to see words being added and disappearing. He tells his parents what is happening to him and he starts to go to many eye check-ups but the doctor says he is fine. At one point, Jack considered that his parents are going crazy! One day, he opens the book to see a picture of a bunny and some easter eggs. “Wow!” he whispers… and he is sucked into the book. That day, he realizes he is gifted and special and that no one can change his fate. He ends up in a whole new land filled with wonders. He starts loving this place, but as days pass, weeks pass, and even months pass, he starts missing his family and tries to leave this wonderland.

“Jack!” my mom screamed in my ear, “You've overslept!” I lazily woke up out of bed. I looked at the clock, shocked to see the time was 10 AM and my school would start at 8 AM. Mornings are always boring and busy, and I can't wait for a weekend! I just want to have my freedom and sleep how much I want.

Even though, my teacher, Ms. Thomas is always giving us homework, even on the weekends and holidays. I quickly got ready and my sister was waiting for me out the door, tapping her foot and looking at me with a serious look. “Because of you, I am late!” she screamed. I gulped my breakfast down and ran downstairs. I hoped my teacher wouldn't be angry.

My dad dropped us because we missed the school bus. School is always the last place I ever want to be. There are bullies everywhere and I wish we had recess. In fact, recess for us is playing task cards with each other. After I got home from that busy school, I opened my favorite book.

Today was something new. There was an easter bunny with easter eggs scattered. That picture was definitely not there the last time I've seen the book. I felt it was somehow magical. I tapped on the picture. My parents and siblings weren't able to see this beautiful magic.

My parents thought I had some eye problems but they were perfectly fine. It seemed it was my fate, and fate can't be changed. Someday, I will maybe become a wizard! 

I tried to push my thought aside. I've completed my homework, and at 7 PM, I could have my playtime. I spent time with my family playing cards and when it was time to sleep, I didn't forget to bring to book with me. When I went to bed, I switched on my lamp and looked at the picture again. 

More details were rapidly added to the picture and I was very surprised. “Wow!” I wondered… and suddenly I was sucked into the book.

Thump! I crashed into a big area with easter eggs surrounding me. I wondered where could I be. Seconds ago, I was in my bedroom amazed by the awesome magic. I quickly found out that I was sucked into the picture.

I could definitely relate myself to JUMANJI! I just hope I am not in a game. So, the objective is to get out of this place! Anyways, I looked around for any signs of help. Near by, I saw an arrow which showed to go to the easter bunny.

“This is not happening to me!” I shouted, hoping everyone can hear me. Instead, nature decided to respond to me with silence. I grunted trying to find something in each easter egg. I couldn't believe all there was were chocolates! Helplessly and hopelessly, I opened all of them and then decided to go on my only option, the easter bunny.

I walked towards the direction the arrow showed me. Suddenly, I saw a cottage. It looked very weird, more like a witch's house. I have a shiver go down my spine as questions and my imagination flew around my head. It was true, I didn't have any option, but I was totally freaked to knock on the door.
