I’m a writer, traveller and teacher, and I’ve lived, worked and loved on three continents over three decades.
Writing, along with travelling, is my passion. I've written articles for online magazines and children's plays, which were published on Drama Notebook. I've been writing my travel blog, Off the Beaten Track, for more than 10 years.
And now I've written my first novel! It's called, You Might Meet Someone, that dreadful thing that well-meaning, coupled people say to single people everywhere.
I wrote it as a love letter to my partner, Ben, who I met 11 years ago when I was chronically single and travelling in Greece. I've shamelessly stolen a little from our love story for the book, and I also had a great deal of fun creating the character of Sarah.
Her self-deprecating humour will make you laugh, but her sorrow may just break your heart. Hopefully, by the end you’ll be championing her happiness.
In 2018, I’m embarking on two grand adventures - taking a year’s sabbatical with Ben travelling to Asia, North America, and Europe, and writing the sequel to You Might Meet Some, called The Vacationship.
