Iris Dorbian is a business journalist/blogger who covers a wide range of topics that include small business, media, private equity/venture capital and theater/the arts. Once upon a time before journalism school beckoned, she was a struggling actress. Then she got hit with a thunderbolt of good sense and made the decision to apply to Columbia's journalism school. Thankfully, they took her and she never looked back. Yeah!
