Introduction

I think it's fair to say everyone was asked 'What do you want to do when you're older?'. The answer would change every time because little kids, in their innocence and little knowledge about the world, believe they can do anything. What about when you're older, its not as easy as it was back then. Sure, there are the select few who have planned out their lives and done nothing but work towards their goals.  I envy these people. I am not one of these people,

After high school, you're allowed to start making choices for yourself. Okay, so they might only be small ones like which college course to take or when to start learning to drive, but up until college is over, your life is pretty much set out for you. Its what you do after college that counts and that's when you kinda need to know the answer to the question 'What do you want to do when you're older?' Sounds easy, you're given all that time. However, if you're like me you will still have no idea what you want to do. That puts you in a pickle. So options; get a full time job earning all the money for the rest of your life. hmm, get a part time job for the time being and have extra time to think about your life choices, sounds good to me! or, choose a subject you enjoy and carry it on into university. ahh. at least 3 more years of education. They say Uni is an amazing place where you meet life long friends and even sometimes lifelong relationships.ooh. Its the start of full time independent living, to balance both studying and socialising. What an amazing place to be...

...So why am I here on the first day of freshers week sitting in bed, in my little halls of residence room...on my own..while everyone else is out having fun and meeting new people. Oh dear..what am I doing with my life...
