What are the best movies of the last 20 years? This is a question that I get asked a lot from people who are about to go to the movies. They either have a list of top favorite movies that they want to see, or they are just in the mood to see a good flick on the big screen. Whatever the case may be, I am going to give you some of my personal favorites in the movies and I hope that you guys like them as much as I do.

One movie that comes to mind right off the top of my head is Easy Rider. This was one of the early favorites when it came to cult movies and I am pretty sure that anyone who sees it has the same opinion. It stars Steve McQueen as a cowboy who never speaks and just kind of walks around. The whole movie is intense and you just want to sit through it to the end.

Another fantastic movie that I consider one of the best of the decade is Vanilla Sky. This is the film that made me fall in love with Jean Sheppard again. It is one of those films that stays on my repeat list because it is just so great.

When it comes to Lists of the Top Movies Wood of the Last 20 Years, there is one movie that should definitely be on it. It is the Godfather Part II. This is the second installment in the Godfather series and I have to say that even though it is a sequel, it is no comparison to the original.

This is a terrific movie that stars Jack Nicholson and Michael Gambon as the classic couple who have an interesting war with each other during the course of the film. It also stars Michael Caine as an Italian mobster who is involved with the plot. This film is on my Top 10 list of the best films of all time and I highly recommend it. It came out at number one on my List of What Are the Best Movies of the Last 20 Years? For the record, it ranked behind Casino, but it certainly was not near as far ahead as Casino.

One other movie that I feel deserves a spot on this list is Edward Scissorhands. This is the first part of the Twilight series and stars Jacob Lofland. It also stars Vanessa Hudgens, Aaron Dismsel, and Edward Herrmann. This is the film that scared me half of my life when I was a kid and I would watch it over again.

No list of what are the best movies of the last twenty years would be complete without bringing up the Princess and the Frog. This is a wonderful Disney film that follows the story of a young girl who falls in love with a frog. The Frog Prince is wonderful and this is a film that all children should see. You should also make sure to add Princess and the Frog to your list of movies you need to see on the big screen this year. There are some great animated features coming out and if you love cartoons this will be a must see.
