OK. I need to get this straight. I'm in 8th grade, with my 2 BFF s. And of course one irritating little girl named Maggie. So the teachers are telling us to 'get to know each other'. Don't get me wrong though! I'm a straight A student with talent to spare! I love school and learning also, I would like to emphasis that I AM NOT A NERD!!!  But excuse me get to know each other? I've been with these half of these people for my whole life!! I've been in St Vincents South International Academy since PREP!!! Consider us teacher!!

" OK, I think we should do this activity together. It says to write everything you know about someone in your class but not their secrets." Abigail said.

" Well we already know most things about each other!!" Pearl said happily. " This is going to Be a breeze!"

'We know that Summers only boyfriend is Nick, and Pearl's mum runs the famous Lotus salon and is one of Steve Job's friends-,''

Abigail was about to talk more, but Pearl nudged her in the ribs for her to stop talking,

" Hush! " I said kind of laughing at Pearl's attempt at making Abigail shush. 

" And Pearl does not like everybody to know that she is Steve Job's friends and that.................................," I said frantically looking around, "that Nick is my boyfriend!!!!!"

Them my BFF s started laughing hysterically. they are a bit crazy sometimes but they still are the best friends ever!!!

We are the most popular girls in 8th grade. We are smart, sporty and nice. Because of that many people ask us out. But................. most of them get turned away. Or we just become kind of savage and not respond to them anyway. 

Miss Luxy our English teacher told us that everyone in the school had to do it apart from the year 12's. And apparently it is one of the school policy's.  Well whoever made that up isn't going to have a good time in out class room. so many people were moaning and stuff as if they had no water left and had to drink their own pee!!!!

And then the worst of all was that Miss Luxy paired us up with people out of out friend zone. And THEN  SHE PUT ME WITH MAGGIE!! I THOUGHT EVERYONE KNEW HOW MUCH I HATED MAGGIE!!!!

" You better not mess my year up, you cockroach!" Maggie said standing on her toes trying to be taller than me. 

'' OK, whatever just do the work!'' I said rolling my eyes at her." OK so what is your favorite thing in the world?''

Maggie answered straight away. " Chocolate, lollies and your boyfriend Nick.''

Everyone turned to look at me and then at Nick who was working in a corner with Mac. I face turned as red as the lava in the volcano. And then Nick kind of just stared at me all awkward and yeah.....

Miss Luxy heard what Maggie was saying so.......... IN YOUR FACE MAGGIE! Miss Luxy kind of just eyed her with the if-you-make-one-more-move-to-be-mean-you-will-gets-so-much-detention-and-extra-homework kind of look.

Maggie just humiliated me in front of the whole cafeteria today during lunch time !!!!!!

" Summer, why do you only use Chanel and Dior make up stuff? Why are you so rich? Why are you so popular and most of all why is your boyfriend Nick????!!!!!" Maggie shouted across  the cafeteria. 

Now all the girls in year 7,8 and 9 that have a crush on Nick are jealous because they know Nick is going out with me and they are angry at Nick because he lied to them as an excuse saying that he was too young or that he did not like them.

" Hey Summer! I heard from Pearl that while I went to the toilet Maggie blurted out out that you were dating Nick." Said Rory Pearls's boy friend, " It looks like when you are the most popular girl in high school, there is no secret or gossip that can slip past everyone!"

I buried my face in my hands.

" Rory you poopsie!" Pearl said laughing and hugging him. " Summer's just embarrassed and scared! What if Ollie gets in a fight with Nick! We all know the Ollie looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooves Summer! She is so cute with the little buns on her head!"

I cant't say I look cute of pretty, but I have to say I look OK.

As I walked toward the school dorms ( It's a boarding school), I totally freaked out. WHAT IF THE GOSSIP ABOUT ME AND NICK SPREADS OUT TO NEARLY EVERYONE?

What if Ollie found out!! We all know that when Ollie gets angry there is trouble!!

OH MY GOD!! WHY IS MAGGIE ALWAYS SPREADING GOSSIP ABOUT ME?????!!!!!!

Here comes Ollie. He looks quite upset and angry. I really don't want to picture what happens next!!!!

Why is it always ME who people want to talk to and flirt with? I HAVE A LIFE PEOPLE AND IF YOU LIKE ME SO MUCH RESPECT IT!!! BACK OFF!!!

I felt so guilty running away from Ollie. And then I skipped English class because I ran away. And I got a detention for skipping it. 

When I went to my dormitory, I saw Abigail and Pearl all wearing FANCY clothes!!

" What's happening?" I asked 

" Come on! Lisa invited the whole of 8th grade to her huge birthday bash tonight! Come on get ready!!" Pearl said jumping up and down clapping her hands. 

" But she did not invite me............" I said quietly.

" I think it is because you are dating Nick. We just found out that Lisa had a crush on Nick since grade 2." Abigail said in a soft sad voice. 

" Did Lisa invite Nick" I asked

Abigail and Pearl nodded nervously as if afraid of what I would do next. 

" You guys go. I'll just stay home." I said. 

Then after about 20 minutes of me sulking in a corner, I heard a knock on the door. And it was Nick. His face was really red and he showed me his phone.

"What? I didn't do that!!" I spent the last 20 minutes crying my eyes out!" I said pointing to the mountain of tissues lying on the floor in the corner of the living room. 

" Oh! I remember! I saw Maggie holding you phone at the party." Nick said." Quick Summer! Go get changed so you can blend in the party." 

But then when I finished changing, Nick got a text from "me" Saying to meet him in the junior playground. so then we went and saw MAGGIE!!!!!! 

" Maggie, can I PLEASE have my phone back?" I pleaded with the emphasis on please.

" NO!!" Maggie snorted sticking her nose into the air all arrogant like.

" Maggie, Please give the phone back to Summer. Tricking me into thinking that you are Summer isn't going to make me like you. In fact, it makes me dislike you even more!!!" Nick said extending out his hand to get my phone. 

" Fine! And that is only because Nick is here. Summer, if Nick wasn't here, your phone would still be MINE!!!" Maggie said shoving the phone with extreme force into my hands. 

Then Maggie stomped away. And as Maggie turned, I saw a tag that was flying out of her dress, and it said SIZE 16 TARGET!!!! I bet she is going to return the dress later after the party!!

After all that, Lisa marched up to me and screamed in my face. 

I MEAN BACK OFF LISA I NEED PERSONAL SPACE!!!

Oh wait.................

Abigail and Pearl are still at the party!!!!😩 I better go pick them up.

There was so muck drama yesterday!!! I was so annoyed at Lisa. She is trying to DATE Nick when clearly she is in year 7. SO LISA, BACK OF AND GO LIVE YOUR MISERABLE LITTLE LIFE UNDER A ROCK, GO STUDY HARD AND GET A JOB AND MAYBE A BRAIN AS YOU CLEARLY DO NOT HAVE ONE!!!!

Well on the bright side of things, Lisa apologies to me for not inviting me to her party just to make me jealous. 

OMG!!! Here comes Ollie. BOY he looks mad. But he is texting so that might save me some time to run. 

But before I could run, Ollie finished typing smiled at me and went back to texting.

I ran to Nick, Mac, Rory, Abigail, and Pearl to see if they had received the same text from Ollie. And they did. Nick was an exception though. I'm so sad!! 

Nick and Ollie were like the BEST OF FRIENDS. And now it's just plain old me stuck in the middle of them and they are starting to hate each other!! IT IS ALL MY FAULT!!! But why. 

'' Nick it's OK. I'll try get you to invited to the party.'' I said to Nick while we were having our morning tea. 

I turned around and saw the rest of the group doing kissy faces like and dancing around like chickens. I rolled my eyes and smiled. Abigail, Pearl, Mac and Rory can be so immature sometimes! But they are still the best friends ever😊🙂!!!!

Well I guess being the most popular person in years 7, 8 and 9 isn't always a good thing.

MATH CLASS.....................................................................................................

During Miss Grangers  math class we kind of (well we did ) got told off for celebrating for the success of out calculation of the rocket ship that was our annual big project.

And when Maggie saw us celebrating, she laughed like a drunk horse who just got force fed 30 million saucepans imported from all over the world. 

After we finished, Miss Granger showed everyone our rocket, it like flew into the sky, but it was in the class room so it went up to the roof and hit it and came sailing back down. 

Instead of doing what they were supposed to do, boys in our class started flirting with us, ( luck Nick, Mac and Rory weren't there )and the girls started gossiping behind there hands. 

I would like to make one thing clear today, and that is,  WE HAVE EYES EARS WE CAN HERE AND SEE WHAT YOU DO! JUST BECAUSE WE ARE POPULAR DOES NOT MEAN WE ARE NOT HUMAN!!!!

If I was unpopular at least i could spend quality  time with my BFFs!! 

INSTEAD OF BEING STARED AT LIKE THE NEWEST DISCOVERED SPECIES OF ANIMALS IN THE ZOO!!!😠😠😠😠😒😒😒 to make things clear, I AM NOT AN ALIEN!! 

Pearl said that she had fashion class and her her partner for the month was a girl called Angeline. And she is super cute, pretty and smart. Ollie should definitely not judge her by her popularity!!
