I was a part-time freelancer for over 30 years while working full-time as an environmental consultant. I love baseball, good food, jazz, playing guitar, and hiking regularly in the woods near our house. My favorite authors these days are Mat Johnson, Percival Everett, Haruki Murakami, Annie Dillard, Tony Doerr, Lydia Davis, and Diane Williams.
