Pros and cons of working as a nurse in Vermont

Hi all, I’ve been offered a travel nurse contract in Vermont and I’m trying to make a pros and cons list before I say yes. I love the idea of working somewhere peaceful and scenic, but I’m not sure what the day-to-day is like or if there are any downsides I should know about. Would appreciate hearing from anyone who’s been there!

I had the same questions before taking my Vermont contract! For the pros, you get gorgeous scenery, chill traffic, and usually friendly coworkers. Some cons: winters can be rough if you’re not used to snow, and there aren’t as many big city perks like shopping or nightlife. I’d check out the Read more page for more honest reviews and details about different facilities. My biggest advice is to pack warm and be ready for some small-town vibes, but honestly, I loved my time there.

I’ve never worked in Vermont, but I keep hearing it’s one of those “love it or leave it” places. Sounds perfect for anyone who enjoys the outdoors and quiet. Hope it works out if you decide to go!
