To me, writing is extremely therapeutic. My literary influences include Henry James, Edith Wharton, F. Scott Fitzgerald, Theodore Dreiser, David Levithan, Richard Yates and many others.
A lot of my work has to do with relationships, mostly in the form of short stories featuring interactions between two or three characters, My work is reflective of my background, so you'll read a lot about foul-mouthed twentysomethings, dysfunctional upper-middle-class folk or both! Revolutionary, I know! ;-)
