Education is an important aspect of every society present in the world today. None of the societies can succeed and improve according to the worldly demands without education. All the developed societies of the world have a highly educated youth which is constantly utilizing its knowledge and wisdom to help the society grow better.

However, it is unfortunately true that our modern education system does not properly reflect the needs of the society. The education system is teaching about the advancements, technologies and ways to excel but it miserably fails to address the problems faced by the entire world in the modern era.

While education is the major source of knowledge, it is important that the major issues in the world are extensively discussed in courses at institutes. Humans are mostly ignorant towards the world problems due to the unawareness. Education system in the modern world revolves around the discussion of developed societies and nations only. Therefore, the people residing in those societies are seen highly ignorant towards the excruciating problems which the rest of the world faces.

One of the prime examples of problems that are majorly neglected is the warfare situations in various countries like Syria and Afghanistan. People in the developed countries and even some of the developing nations are unaware regarding the said issue because there is no discussion of it in education institutes. Only the people who do research regarding current issues on their own are aware of such issues, rest are living in a denial and consider the entire world to be in the perfect state.

Another major world problem is hunger. Countries including African nations face severe hunger problems due to next to none attention and consideration from the world and weak self governance system. The modern education system across the world fails to acknowledge and address such issues which make students ignorant towards the rest of the world.

We as a society need to make the education system of the world better - one which is more considerate and accommodating of world problems to make the students more aware about them. Our education system should be providing knowledge regarding the needs of the society as whole rather than only discussing the developed nations and trivializing rest of the matters. The students present in the educational institutes nowadays are only prepared for HND marketing assignments and not for bringing a genuine change in the world for betterment.
