A freelance writer since 1986, Carol has written for many national publications on the subject of quilts and quilting. She transitioned from the history of textile treasures to America's Western history, specifically concentrating on histories of little known, but important figures in the history of the "Old West". She has written one book of crime fiction, but has yet to see it published.
