Lemon Meringue
Lemon meringue
This story is a work of fiction. Names, characters, places, and situations are the product of Annie’s imagination or are used fictitiously. (Look Mother! I used a big word!) Any resemblance to actual events, locations, or persons, living or dead, is a roman a’ clef. Any situations that seem familiar are taken and made into a dramatic situation and are now no longer real. Ask me about coyotes sometime.

Dear Reader,
There is a French word for a story that is based on true situations or people, calledroman aclef. This story that you are about to read is as such with real life elements that have happened. Moreover, since real life is stranger than fiction, I have taken poetic license to twist the story into fiction. I do not mean to cause harm, slander or belittle. I merely strive to entertain and express emotions that is all part of a healing process. (Please forgive me…. I may have let my K-drama watching influence me a tad too much.) Please relax, grab a slice of pie and enjoy my first novel.
Sincerely,
Annie
