Chris Jones is a writer, editor and speaker. He has enjoyed an extensive writing career where he has written for and edited a daily newspaper, a weekly publication, a parenting magazine.
At The Health Journal, Chris writes, edits and helps to manage the day-to-day operations. He enjoys helping writers discover their voice, craft cleaner copy and find more intriguing angles to their stories.
Prior to The Health Journal, Chris wrote and edited at Fredericksburg Parent & Family magazine. There he helped to build the magazine’s popularity by changing the content style and featuring interviews from national celebrities.
Chris recently contributed to a book, “African American Caregivers: Season of Care” and is currently working on his first two books, one aimed at developing writers and the other targeting those wishing to start businesses.
He lives in Williamsburg, Virginia, with his wife and children and enjoys being outdoors, reading books, entertaining friends and exploring the world of craft beer.
