NOLA

 I wake.

It's dark, but it's not too dark. It's the morning. A dim light travels from my window, curling around my room.

I bounce back onto my bed and lie there admiring the breeze. No, I don't admire a simple breeze, I enjoy one.

"Princess Nola," Isaac's whisper is like a shriek interupting me from sleep. Because well, it was.

"What is it Isaac, leave me alone," I attempt to through a cushion from beside my head. It bounces miserably to the edge then falls off. Isaac chuckles.

"See, Isaac, my point exactly. I - HAVE - NO - ENERGY."

"Get up, lazy."

He thinks he can just talk to me like that? I'm royalty. Also I'm only nine months and seven days younger than him.

"I'm only nine months and seven days younger than you. Now stop bossing me about!" I demand, no order.

"Why do you have to be so technical?"

"Why do you have to be so annoying?"

"Terrible comeback."
