Children's Poems

Our kittens
Our kittens have the softest fur
And the sweetest little purr,
And such little velvet paws,
And little cunning claws,
And blue eyes just like the sky!
Must they turn green by and by
Two are striped like tigers
And three are as black as can be,
As they run so fast and play,
Whith their tails so gray
It's not a pitty that,
Soon they will be cats!

Our puppies
Our puppies are as soft as silk,
And teeth as white as milk
Little noses as cool as pink,
Little eyes that blink and blink!
Little body's round and fat,
Little heart that goes pit-a-pat
Surely prettier pups were never seen
By the way my name's Raheem!
One Elephant
One Elephant went out to play,
Upon a spiders web one day
She had such enormous fun,
She called another Elephant to come!
At the zoo
