We all stood in the face of death that day. We shouldn't have gone to the park, but could you blame us? We were bored teenagers looking for some excitement.. but I didn't realize that this would kill us..

 " pass the bottle!" Gina said. She was the oldest one out of all of them. She was also the most sharp and the mother of us all. And secretly the love interest of David. He was the quarterback at New Ridge high, and the most popular. But Gina didn't care about popularity because she found it idiotic to have certain groups when we all could be together. Then we had Mani and Luke. They were dating and they were also my best friends, next to Gina who ranked a higher number. And then there's me. I had a very light shade of black hair which I dyed with blue highlights and I also have a very chic vibe about me to be honest. You'll find out a lot more about me later on, but for now.. let's get back to the story. " hey guys did you hear?!" David leans in , giving us the impression this was serious. " there's a park not too far from here in the woods. It's been abandoned by a mysterious owner who left it standing still since the 40s. Let's go check the shit out!" " it's probably old and creepy as hell! No thanks!" Gina then resumes drinking her beer in peace. " it seems cool! Let's go!" I say, barely able to hide my enthusiasm in the sentence. " that's one! Mani? Luke?" They stared at each other then started to hold hands. " were in!" They said together. " please Gina?!" I give her my precious puppy face, and I know she can't ignore it. " goddamn it!" She mutters under her breath. " fine!" She says, with annoyance. We all nod and get up from the campsite and follow David to the park. As we neared the park, I gasped at the scenery. It was old as hell to be honest. But you could see the old rides and a giant castle that stood over it all in the middle. As we got closer to the entrance, we noticed that the lock for the gate was torn violently off. We all stopped in silence until David decided to break it. " who's ready!" He asks with a grin. The rest of us stare at each other, and then we march into the darkness in front of us..

 Once we walked in, we were paralyzed. All around us stood half finished models of rides, and food stands were covered in cobwebs. It was like the whole park was put on hold because of something.. but we didn't know what it was. As we walked forward, I could feel and hear things. I could smell the cotton candy, kids laughing, and adults snapping photos. Then we heard something that made us freeze.. it was a child. We could hear a child laughing and it got louder, until we heard a boom and a blood curling scream! " what the hell is that?!" I started to shake until David pulled me closer to him. It was nice of him to do that. He always provided me comfort in times like this. But this was one of the times where it was making me more paranoid. " let's hide in the fun house!" Luke points to his left. A funhouse stands a few feet away from us, the front title of it flickers on and off, almost like someone's doing it. Mani breaks out of Luke's arms and dashes in, screaming as she enters. Luke follows after with me, Gina, and David on their trail. As me and Gina venture farther into the house we come across a small door with a red light blinking. Gina reaches for the doorknob and it unlocks, showing us monitors and computers. " These show the whole park!" Gina puts her hands on her hips. I look at each screen. But some don't show every part though. I couldn't piece together a full picture of the amusement park. But I did imagine it was a bustling place, filled with joy and good times. Now it's sad and decaying slowly. Then something caught my eye and it caught Gina's eye as well. It was a clown. It had on a black and blue clown suit and it had a mask on that was covered in one thing.. it was blood. It wasn't hard to tell. Me and Gina stood frozen, I heard my heart pounding in my chest and then I saw the clown holding up a sign. He puts it up next the camera in front of the haunted house and smiles. Gina leans in to get a look at it. " it says, we're all going to die tonight!" We both backed up then that's when we heard something. We heard a loud crash outside the door, and a loud shriek. Gina races to block the door with the shelf full of expired food. She then turns to me. " into the damn closet!" She hisses. I obey and we run into the closet with her locking it from the inside. Once inside we both look for a light switch, scrambling around until I feel it. I flick it up and the room lights up. The room is covered in red leather and is much larger than we thought it was. It had a velvet couch and a fish tank. Me and Gina stare at each other in confusion. What was this room for? And what is the thing after us?! My mind swirls around and around until we hear a thud, that causes us to jump. We hear a second Thud and then a scream. The thing was outside this fake closet! It was gonna break in! And we're on the menu for it! I look at Gina. She looks around quickly and decisively. She taps me and points up at the ceiling. There's a hole that we could get through. She gets down on one knee and I climb onto her hand, as she lifts me up into the ceiling. She jumps up and I grab her hand just as the monster busts through. I pull Gina up with all my strength and she makes it. The monster however lets out a blood curling scream again before running off. As we travel though the ceiling, we crawl through cobwebs and dead bugs. " キモい！ サヤク！！ ヤタ！ ちょっともう！" as I curse and ramble in Japanese, Gina moves forward until we both stop. I hear a creak and a loud bang. I move just four steps until the ceiling and then it gives way, sending me down with it. " Gina!" " Erin!"
