Secrets isolate us. They are not something we just share with anyone. But we also have to be careful. Because if we tell the wrong person... everything can be destroyed. " we only have a week left of summer vacation!" Said Emily. She flopped onto the bed and everyone else agreed with her, especially Rika. She had hoped that she could finally spend a summer doing something that was actually adventurous, instead of eating chips and playing Mario Kart. Emily and Rika had been best friends since 2nd grade and they both had the best things to know about each other.. especially their secrets. Emily purposely invited Adrian and the rest of her and Rika's friends to her beach house for the summer. It should be mentioned that Emily is crazy loaded so she often got whatever she wanted. But she also knew the value of hard working and so she got a job at a designer store in the city. " let's go to the beach!" Maya said happily. Maya was the most enthusiastic one in the group. She was the youngest and the smartest person in the school. But she's also secretly cool because she throws top notch parties while her parents were out of town. She's also one of the richest people in the school. Aidan and Kevin were brothers who to be honest were the most ignorant people in the school. But they make up for it by doing outrageous pranks on the teachers, so they stick with us. Chloe was the most rebel one in the group. She had ocean blue hair and and black eyes. She was taller than everyone else so she acted like a ruler around them. Roma smiled to herself while listening to her friends whispers and murmurs, until she feels a hand touch her back. She also gasps but she feels a hand to her lips. " sorry to scare you." She knows it's Adrian and she starts to smile. Emily looks over and notices Rika and Adrian talking so she smiles slyly and says something. " I want to make a seashell necklace for Maya! Rika can you and Adrian go get some from the beach?!" " thanks Emily!" Maya says, a happy smile on her face. " no problem love!" Rika gives an angry smile but laughs and says.." sure! Anything for you!" She and Adrian get up and walk off to the beach. " I'm glad I get to be alone with you Rika" Adrian says with a smile. Rika knows it's not genuine. She's always been shy around him and evasive. " I got a seashell!" Rika holds it up triumphantly. While she puts it in her purse she is dragged into a beach changing station. " Adrian what the hell are-" " I'm sorry Rika but I love you!" Rika blushes. She's always felt a way about him but she never knew he liked her like that. " I know your favorite name is 9, your favorite color is white and I know you like me to. Before she can respond she is pulled into a kiss with him. She starts to grab his hair and he grabs her waist. They both back up into the bench, laughing while having a moment. She felt that Adrian's been through this, mainly because of his technique and the type of condom he uses. They both press together creating a huge miracle that night.

 It's been a week since she and Adrian had slept together. And Rika hasn't regretted it one bit. She looks over on her nightstand and checks the time on her alarm. " crap it's 6:51! I'm gonna be late!" She hurries out of bed and manages to get through her morning routine. Once done with her routine she picks out a light blue falter top that sways to her side and blue ripped jeans. She finishes the look with black heels and bracelets. " okay time to go to prison now," she says with a small smile. " Rika have a good day at school!" Her mom yells at the bottom of the stairs before leaving. " okay bye!" She hears the slam of the door and tires squealing out of the driveway. She then grabs her backpack and phone and walks out the house. Once at school she is met with angry glares and murmurs around her. " geez, I didn't kill your pets," she said with annoyance. She finds her friends in the library and sit next to them. " why is everyone glaring at me? I didn't kill anyone," Chloe gives a look before getting up and walks away. " um?" " Rika.. did you sleep with Adrian last week?" Maya said this with a disappointed tone, which made Rika uncomfortable. " yeah we did, what's the problem?" Maya sighs and leans in." Adrian sent a link in the group chat were in that shows you guys doing it." Rika's heart sanks, her blood stop flowing, and her eyes go dark. She could have shriveled up and died right there in the library, but she replied with the best voice she could talk in. " how did he record?" She asked in a very shaky voice. " we don't know but the entire school knows what happened between you guys," "

Show me the link Maya." " it's not worth it Rika," Emily said concerned. " show me the damn link!" Maya gulps before handing Rika the phone. Rika watches the video and then the comments are where it hurts the most. " he only wanted one thing lol" " shes always been in love in him" " I bet she charged him 5 bucks! Haha" " whore!" " skank!" " oh my god!"

Rika puts down the phone and runs out of the library, barely able to keep the tears from coming out of her eyes. While in the bathroom breaking down Rika gets a text. " hey Rika I'm sorry for what happened to you! And sadly it sucks losing it to someone who you thought cares about you." Tears well up in her eyes. She's dreamt about her first time with Adrian since freshman year, now it's over and she's regretting it faster than ever. " tell you what Rika! If you do some things for me I'll give you all the secrets of the school! Ones that were just found out or past ones! :) free of charge!" " what do I have to do? And who are you?" " just call me john for now, and all I need is the homework for science," " we don't have science today, ms.burns is out sick," " okay then! Well your first secret is that Adrian has anorexia! Good luck!" Rika's heart beats extremely fast. Adrian is anorexic? It didn't make sense.. until she noticed one little thing. During the trip on the beach house, Adrian refused to eat big bites and often felt that he was fatter than everyone, even though he was the most athletic person there. Rika was mad now. She logged into the group chat and posted the little information she got. " Adrian is anorexic! Shocking! A source has just released this to me!" Rika smiles as the comments roll in, she wanted Adrian to feel the pain she was feeling right now, and he felt it. " fatty Adrian! Lol" " guys this isn't funny! ( stifles laughter)" " has he always been this way! Lmao" Rika started to laugh as well, she was enjoying this, but if only she knew the price. 

 Rika wakes up and thinks about yesterday. She checks the group chat and finds hundreds of messages for her. The entire school has been hating on Adrian, even his friends have began to ignore him. She then gets a text from her secret source. " the secret has been revealed and the school is eating it up like sharks!" " the next secret will hurt you the most so be ready.... Maya's been abusing pills," Rika's heart sank again. But then, like Adrian's problem she had a flashback. She remembers that she caught Maya downing some pills at the beach house. " Rika don't tell anyone please! I need them to help me focus!" Maya stood over the sink, shaking her hands. " okay I won't tell" Rika comes back to the present and thinks. " I won't expose her like that john! She's my best friend!" " I'm not forcing you to but it's there if in anyway she crosses you! Have a good sleep :)" " wait! What's Chloe's secret?" " hmm well to be honest, she's selling drugs," " you're lying!" " have another flashback ;)" Rika freezes and realizes the time Chloe and her were having a trip around town. " stay right here while I go meet someone," " k" Rika could see a white bag popping out of Chloe's hoodie as she exits the car. " okay then that's enough secrets today john!" " okay then bye Rika :)" Rika turns off her light and lays back onto her bed, her mind processing every detail she's learned so far.
