tales from a flightless songbird is a collection of poems i have written. i am bilingual and am/was in the process of learning two other languages. the following poems will be in different languages, depending on how i felt i needed to write them, but i will include an english translation after each. the poems are in the order they were written in and divided by day.

(languages in this collection are english, macedonian, italian and very broken german.)

јас сум мост

во средина на расправије.

трчам кругови меѓу нив

но не ги разбирам пораките

и често ги грешам.

i am a bridge

in the middle of an argument.

i run circles between them

but i do not understand the messages

and i often get them wrong.

трчам

со се што имам

но има години поминати

и не се сеќавам од што.

сепак,

бегам подалеку

и подалеку

од темнината толку далеку зад мене

што веќе не ја гледам.

that i no longer see it.
