With time, the criteria of education and schooling have changed drastically. Technology and advancement have groomed the conventional classrooms making learning easy and much understandable. However, it has affected one thing adversely, i.e., creative writing. Teachers nowadays think that creative writing has nothing to do with the literacy development of a child and so they condemn it.

Research shows that where reading is beneficial to flourish students’ writing skills, similarly creative writing plays a vital role in their cognitive growth while fostering the quality of persuasion in their personalities.

Experts suggest that students who are proficient in creative writing proofs themselves better at subjects like, math, statistics, chemistry, biology, physics, and other science subjects. This is because writing grooms ones’ learning giving him a better approach to overview things along with authentic reasoning. In other words, creative writing boosts intelligence giving the writer a better perspective to tackle things. This nurtures a quality to face challenging situations without panicking since they start seeing everything creatively to seed a fun element within it.

Hence, teachers must understand its importance and involve students in it. It will help to give the following advantages;

Writing embrace children’s self-expression skills. They usually find it difficult to express their thoughts in words. Writing cuts the struggle giving them the confidence to express their opinions, ideas, and feelings freely the way they want to.

Creative writing boosts students’ creative minds and allows them to split-out their imaginations that were stuck in their minds until now.

Creative writing tends to give children a broader platform to think. Additionally, it trains them to use the alternatives efficiently. Such an improvement in creativity imposes a productive impact on their analyses and problem-solving skills. Writing helps students to embrace their writing and persuasion skills. This is because writing is all about ascending the thoughts from your mind on a piece of paper. Creative writing basically refreshes their mind by escaping them out of the monotonous academic writing and learning. It discovers the hidden creativity and imagination that is further involved in other academic subjects as well.

Moreover, it fosters the hidden creativity while also giving rise to new captivating ideas.

Every person is born with some creativity. However, it fades away, but some elements last until death. The way fairytales have faded away with childhood, but adulthood still owns some chunks of it in your subconscious. Similarly, your unique creativity will fade away but leave some sound effects within your personality. Hence, students must be guided to write it from an early age.
