Anyone Else Notice Their VPN Stops Mid-Call on iOS? What’s Going On?
Has anyone else had their VPN just die right in the middle of a call on iOS? It’s been happening to me a lot lately, especially during FaceTime and WhatsApp calls. The VPN reconnects a few seconds later, but the call usually drops or the other person can’t hear me. I’ve already reinstalled the app and even tried a different VPN service, but no luck. Wondering if it’s something with iOS settings or just bad VPN servers.
I’ve noticed iOS can be weird about keeping certain apps running in the background, especially if low power mode or data saver is on. Sometimes it pauses network activity without warning, and you only notice it when something disconnects. Maybe it’s worth checking your battery settings or turning off background app refresh limits — that fixed random disconnects for me with other apps.
