Is anyone else using rolling forecasts instead of annual budgets?

Hi everyone. I'm wondering if anyone else is using rolling forecasts instead of annual budgets? I've been reading about them and they sound pretty appealing, especially with how quickly things change in my industry. The idea of constantly updating the forecast seems like it would give a much more accurate picture of where we're headed than just setting a budget once a year and sticking to it, even if it's no longer realistic. But it also sounds like a lot more work. Thoughts?

Exploration is another key element that keeps horror games interesting. Players are often encouraged to search every room for useful items or hidden clues. While doing so, they must stay aware of potential threats nearby. This mixture of curiosity and caution makes exploration feel rewarding without removing the sense of danger.
