Are VIP programs at online casinos actually worth it?

I'm curious about online casino VIP programs. I've seen a few that offer things like dedicated account managers, higher withdrawal limits, and exclusive bonuses. The thing is, they usually require a pretty significant amount of wagering to reach even the lowest VIP tier. I wonder if it actually makes financial sense to chase those perks or if you're better off just sticking with standard bonuses and promotions. Has anyone here actually climbed the VIP ladder at an online casino and found it worthwhile?

It's quite a contrast how online casinos handle loyalty versus traditional brick-and-mortar casinos. In a real-world casino, a host might comp you rooms, meals, and show tickets based on your play, creating a very personalized experience. Online, it seems much more formulaic and driven by algorithms. I guess it is just the nature of the beast. There are pros and cons to both approaches; online is certainly more convenient, whereas the experience in real life is unmatched.
