Do young Azerbaijani players get enough playing time?
I've noticed a trend in Azerbaijani football, and it makes me wonder if our younger players are really getting the opportunities they deserve. It seems like the older, more established players often get preference, which is understandable to some extent – they have experience and a proven track record. However, how can the younger generation truly develop if they are consistently sitting on the bench, or only getting limited minutes at the end of a game? What do you guys think? Is there a bias towards veterans that might be holding back the potential of younger talent in our leagues? Or is it simply that the older players are still performing better than the youngsters?
The dynamic between experienced players and rising stars is a delicate balance that every football club needs to manage carefully. Too much reliance on veterans can lead to stagnation and a lack of innovation, while throwing unproven youngsters into the deep end too soon can be detrimental to their confidence and development. There needs to be a clear pathway for young players to progress and earn their place in the team. The club's strategy must support both the present success and future growth.
