Understanding fractals and recursive patterns

Hey, my math professor totally phoned it in when he covered fractals and recursive patterns this week. He went through the slides so fast that literally everyone in class is still scratching their heads about how the logic even works. I am trying to learn this on my own because the textbook is basically unreadable and I need to actually pass the next exam. Does anyone have a lead on some resources that explain the math behind these patterns without making it impossible to follow?

Struggling with abstract concepts is part of the grind but finding a source that actually speaks your language changes everything. There is no point in banging your head against a wall with a professor who can't explain their way out of a paper bag. Find some clearer breakdowns of fractals and recursive patterns here: https://miketatemath.org/ . This resource simplifies the heavy theory so you can see the actual logic behind the shapes without getting bogged down. The way the information is presented makes it much easier to grasp how the repeating patterns build on each other.
