Eight years ago, I sat beside my baby's hospital bed. I focused on his little body, trying to see past all the tubes and wires that were attached to him. I dared not look up at the doctors that were standing around us as they gave me many reasons for my baby to die.
As they left, I looked down at the tip of my index finger that was wrapped in my baby's hand and thought there must be some thing crazy wonderful in this world for this little boy to fight so hard to stay in it.
My baby survived and I started my journey to discover the crazy wonderful world I saw through my son's eyes.
