Prologue
Carter Wooden has always walked on broken glass. He has a problem with doing things right. "Messing shit up is my specialty," according to Carter. It does not help that Carter has a snarky attitude that serves him no good in his workplace or love life. In other words, Carter is a true piece of work. Well, Carter Wooden is in for a rude awakening.
The rude awakening comes in a small package, a six-year-old doe-eyed boy named Elliot. Little Elliot is more than just a small package, he is Carter's long-lost son. Elliot wasn't so long lost, but Carter found him - more or less Elliot found Carter - anyway.
The reunion of father and son came at least suspecting time, but the journey will surely be a monumental one for the both of them.
This is Elliot's and Carter's story.
Lost Boy
The lost boy will never be forever lost, for he is found in his darkest hour.
