It gets a lot of hate and every complaint is understood by me. I've been a major time NBA 2K participant since 2k6. Never online tho for whatever reason. My bro and I simply play play games and dynasty/my gm modes. But it never gets the credit it deserves. It's the best basketball game with a mile. I understand the aid defense stinks, and that a good deal of NBA 2K players just don't translate to a video game (not that Barkley is inside anymore, but Zion/Shaq/Iverson) never quite seem right. And the rise up and take over mid range guys are difficult to score with. Nonetheless, it's an wonderful game that warrants a lot if compliments. When you utilize LeBron or Durant in the correct ways it is so lifelike and true.

You are able to take a hot Durant, dribble court up and fire off and it feels like a game. LeBron men that are bullying can be started by you to the rim and shooting passes around and it feels right. 2k has to be pressured to include a single NBA 2K player mode every year such as the livelihood and Jordan livelihood modes. A Kobe manner seems like it should occur. But like a redo of livelihood or Penny hardaway. Make me Shaq and let me choose what to do with my career. That could be fun. Allow me to pippen at 94 and allow me to confront Michael if he returns and escape or choose to remain with the bulls. There's so many enjoyable situations and I expect they put effort in that mode.

Yeah I agree with this, I have been a fan of NBA since I can recall about myself but started getting into 2K at 2k13 which was the sole 2k I played until 2k19 arrived and I am still to this day ignored by everything in it. The audience score when I dunk, the jump on nike shoes when your vertical is 99 is gratifying to see. I enjoy the meter that they added since it makes it more immersive and feels like you are the one taking NBA 2K winning shooter when you do.

What I can complain about is NBA 2K mechanics. 2k13 has so many way to beat off your guard dribble or ankle fracture or etc... Whereas on 2k19 I must run plays which I do like but is impossible cause so that it's tough I am playing on keyboard. I enjoyed the 2k13 way of beating your defender and passing it to somebody to complete the play.
