Writing has freed me. Putting my stories out into the world has gotten them out of my head where many of them (not all) were no longer serving me well.
My first book 'The Gap Year(s)' is a memoir about my decision to leave a crumbling marriage, and the adventure (she says with wry smile) I then embarked upon to figure out who the hell I was, and indeed was going to become, now that I had the freedom to choose my own destiny.
I've shared my story, because I hope that it will help people. It helped me, so if it helps only one other person - then it will have been worth the effort.
The Gap Year(s) is only the beginning of my writing journey. I'm already writing my next book - a book on building female confidence, and then I'm going to tackle a novel. I also contribute to Medium if you'd like to follow me there. Thanks for stopping by.
Best. Nathy
