Chapter 1

My feet padded against the plush carpet as I made my way downstairs to the kitchen. My black bra faintly showed through the thick white t-shirt that I was wearing, one of Harry's t-shirts. The t-shirt was huge on me considering Harry was almost six foot and I was merely five foot five. I looked around the kitchen only to find that there was no one around. This was weird for me, seeing as the boys were normally in and out of the kitchen all of the time.

I lived in ahouse with a few of the other boys in Harry's gang. Harry had let a few of his better gang members stay with them for a while. They had a pretty big house, so it worked out alright. The boys were really nice to meet, and they were alot of fun to be around. Harry trusted them, that's the only reason he would let her be around them. They knew better then to make a move or try anything with Harry's girl. I looked around the living room, checking to see if anyone was around, but no one seemed to be anywhere near. As I was looking in the living room I heard an ear piercing scream come from somewhere below me . I stopped in my tracks and looked to the door on my left which led to the basement. That had to be where the scream came from, it was the only place below me . I wanted to go down there and see what was going on, but something inside of me screamed not to since Harry had given me strict orders to never go anywhere near the basement. Of course, my curiosity gotten the best of my self and i went anyways. I tiptoed quietly down the steps of the basement, and hid behind one of the walls in the huge basement. I peeked my head around the corner, seeing one of the most horrifying sights ever. There stood Harry, gun in hand, with an evil grin plastered onto his face as he stood over the beaten and bloody man that lay at his feet. The other boys around him snickered at the man pleading for Harry not to shoot him.

My mouth dropped open slightly at the scene in front of my face. I knew that Harry did bad things, I'd never thought they would be things like this though. He had kept me so sheltered and away from it, he never really explained to me what he actually did. I turned around, wanting nothing more than to go back upstairs and pretend like none of this ever happened, or that I wasn't terrified at the moment. My hurrying to get upstairs caused me to trip over my own feet, and fall into the wall as I attempted to catch herself. A loud thud sounded throughout the basement. My eyes widened and tensed when I heard footsteps coming my way.
