Ron Elliott used to be a film and television director and writer. As well as television dramas and children's television he has directed the feature film, Justice and written the telemovie Southern Cross. He continues to write for the screen. He has also written the novels, Spinner and Burn Patterns, the story collection Now Showing and the short story, The Lake Story. He taught screen production at Curtin University for ten years and still teaches part time while working on more novels and screen scripts. He eagerly awaits the imminent arrival of a new puppy called Lou.
