"Audrey, would you care too give me the answer?" Audrey's teacher asked her "270," she said very quietly "Speak up!"

"270," she said as loud as she would go "Uhhh, Audrey how are we going to help you if you won't speak?" Her teacher asked that's when it hit, she took a peace of paper from her book and wrote something down 'I'm not talking' with a very happy smilily face, she gave it to her teacher smiling wickedly. Her teacher looked very angry "That's it I . Give . Up!" she slammed the text book down on her table "Audrey! The rest of your class can speak why can't you?" Audrey shrugged and wrote in her book 'The answer, by the way, is 270' she folded it into her paper plane and flew it to her teacher she caught and let out a frustrated sigh and gave Audrey the thumbs up, she smiled and went back to her book writing letters to her teacher and working out the answer.

 "Come on Audrey! Just one word! One word for me, before we walk into your office?" Audrey's best friend, Emily asked , she shook her head and walked into the detective agency, wondering how someone who doesn't talk could become a detective, it's rather simple, you know how detectives have those note books to right clues in, yes well Audrey has a diary like one and writes what she wants to say in it, she also uses sign language. She's the highest in her part of the department and has solved 570 crimes in one year. It seems impossible. Not for one of the quietest persons in the world, she was in the Guinus World Record book 2014, she was famous the way she wanted to be, through books, although people don't read books much anymore, those who do will spread it along to people who don't read and they  would start reading. "Morning M.s," said Sargent Bart, she nodded in response and wrote in her diary 'What's new today?' "Hmmm, we've got a new guy starting today, he moved and will be your new partner, I think that's all, oh and boss is on the phone for a murder," Bart said 'OK, when do I meet the new guy?' she wrote "Tomorrow," he said 'Cool, gotta go' and that was that, a new guy starting and another murder! 'Just what I need, mother coming down and I solving a murder with some hobo' she thought, she walked into her office and did her strawberry red hair up in a French braid 'Gonna need my sleep to night' she thought and walked to get a coffee. "Audrey! Get in here!" Said the familiar voice of D.C.I  Ryan, she turned on her heal and walked to the fuming man, she waved at him and he rolled his eyes, she got out her diary ready for a million questions to start pouring into her brain and spilling onto her pages. "On of ours have been killed," Ryan said, Audrey's eyes widened 'Who?' She wrote "Sargent Richard," Audrey's eyes welled with tears, her fiancé dead, she buried her head into her hands and cried, she cried hard giving herself a headache "Emily!" Emily walked in and saw her friend crying "What did you do!" she said ready to punch "Richard is dead," he said calmly 

"Oh my gosh! Audrey! Sshhh... It's going to be ok, it's going to be ok," what Emily didn't know was everything was going to be the complete opposite of ok.

 Audrey was sitting with a hot chocolate in her hands, crying silently. Her friend Emily was sitting next to her rubbing her back thinking it was comforting Audrey , it wasn't, Emily decided to turn on the t.v to make some noise, which only happened when Richard was home Audrey never ever talked, not even when her fiancé was there, she used sign language or her notebook, which was her fifth one this year. Audrey rarely watched tv she found it boring compared to books. 

When Emily turned on the tv it was on the news channel , DCI Ryan was on a podium speaking "The recent murder has took one of our police officers, we will do everything we can, for his family, for his fiancé and for his friends, we are not letting this case rest until we have found the culprit. Thank you," he stepped down the podium and the first time in years Audrey cried loudly, and she gave herself another headache, she wrote in her book. 'I'm going to get that bastard' Emily smiled and left to get another box of tissues from the shop. Audrey laid down and went to sleep.

 In her dreams she saw Richard and her laughing, nosily, then she saw her self talking "I love you," 

"I love you too," and they kissed. She then saw herself at Richards funeral crying into some guys shoulder , and then she felt something hit her head and she no longer had dreams but instead her vision was black, she stopped breathing and tried to move, it felt like someone was on top of her, sitting on her stomach, she stopped squirming and gave up, that's when she lost all her senses...

"Holy cow! Audrey! Can you hear me? Audrey! Audrey!" Emily was yelling, Audrey heard nothing after an hour of lying down in pain, her eyes were slits and she was breathing rather heavily "Audrey! The ambulance is coming ok you'll be al- what's that?" Emily said pointing to her notebook someone had written in it 'Be careful Audrey and Emily, I'll come when you least expect it' it was in cursive, Emily was down by Audrey's side, cradling her head and whispering "It's going to be ok, it's going to be ok, it's going to be ok," the ambulance arrived and took Audrey away, the police came in to look at evidence and interview Emily on what happened.
