Sonya Muhammad is a counselor/therapist, author, and playwright holding a Masters degree in marriage, family, and child counseling. For more than twenty years, she has provided life coaching, therapeutic counseling, and academic services to children and their families of all ages, cultures, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
It was during her time spent working with foster youth and probation youth residing in group home placements, that she discovered the tragic practices of diagnosing children with bogus disorders, which subsequently led to prescribing life debilitating psychotropic drugs to children who had no voice and no power.
