Mustafa Centre

Unlike other markets this centre is open 24/7. It is famous amongst the locals as well as the tourists – thanks to its distinctive shopping experience. Notable point of Mustafa Centre is that designer products are available here at lower prices. The mall has everything to offer from clothes, watches, textiles and electronics that are always on sale. If you see carefully the mall is actually two different stores that have been joined together to form the Mustafa Centre. The biggest attraction of this Centre is the jewellery section where gold also sells cheaper. The Centre does not have brand shops but one shop selling multiple brands. Indian and other Asian products sell for dirt cheap rates. On visit to this centre will not be enough to explore the entire place. Cheap suitcases are also available on sale and will prove to be useful if you have extra luggage to carry back home.

Bugis Street Market

One of the most happening places to shop in Singapore is the Bugis Street Market. It is considered to be the most happening place if you are looking forward for some cheap bargains on products. 50 years ago this place used to host the bustling night life of the city of Singapore. Today it has become one of the hottest places to shop. Recognised as one of the commercial hubs of shopping some of Singapore’s finest dining restaurants are also located here. If you wish to take a break from your shopping there are also some modern cafes and bars here which stay open till late in the night. The place is popular amongst both the tourists as well as the people living nearby as it is truly one of the cheapest places to shop in Singapore.

If you are looking forward to taking something home for friends and family you can buy souveniers and accessories, clothes, cosmetics and electronics at dirt cheap rates. Many of the small items like key chains, stationery and colourful post cards cost only about 1 SG. The clothes here although are not from global fashion brands but can definitely cater to the decent tastes of people. Jeans can sell as low as 10 Sg, tee shirts for 5 Sg, a combo of sunglasses and hats for 2 Sg. A couple of years ago this bustling market was renovated and is now completely covered ensuring that the sun and the rain do not spoil your shopping experience. With over 800 shops that are open till 11:00 pm in the night you can definitely shop till you drop.
