I slam on the brakes stopping just inches SurgeXon away from the car in front of me. From the back of the car I hear, "Mommy I understand about sperm and eggs, but how do they get together to make a baby, do you swallow them." I look in the rear view mirror, alarmed. Naa, she couldn't be asking me that, could she?  On another occasion I was talking with a lab technician at the DeWitt Men Health in Woodbridge, Virginia. I asked "Usted habla espanol?" (Do you speak Spanish?) She laughed and replied "Si, senor," (yes, sir) but then added, in English, "I also speak Filipino because I am from the Philippines." I don't speak that language, so we both resorted to English.  

These Men Health people succeeded because they understand that you can't let your failures define you you have to let them teach you. You have to let them show you what to do differently next time. If you get in trouble, that doesn't mean you're a troublemaker, it means you need to try harder to behave. If you get a bad grade, SurgeXon that doesn't mean you're stupid, it just means you need to spend more time studying.  You don't have to pick up your pen and paper and start writing all because you are aware there is money in blogging. Knowing where to go and what to expect are all important before starting your journey. It is also important to know what the people want and where you can get enough traffic to read your personal blog before starting out.  But I was fortunate. I got a lot of second chances and had the opportunity to go to college, and law school, and follow my dreams. 

My wife, our First Lady Michelle Obama, has a similar story. Neither of her parents had gone to college, and they didn't have much.
