Truck Driver Dreams

Volvo - Dream Truck.

I must say that the tractor looks beautiful and unusual - the matte red livery is not very common on the road (it does not occur at all). Even a local dog fell into the shadow of this particular car, having passed the extra ten meters in the heat. Coincidence? I don’t think so! (c) In principle, if you have read the review of last year's "Goleador", then in terms of filling they are almost identical - the highest sleeping cab in the Renault Trucks range of trucks, air-suspended seats, the ability to transform the upper shelf into a storage compartment, pull-out spacious drawers, numerous lighting modes depending on the time of day, remote control of comfort functions in the sleeping area , cruise control, lighting of steps at the entrance to the cockpit and much more. For some reason, in the exterior, I like the aggressive aerodynamic deflectors on the headlights most of all - they look just amazing!

The pleasant matte red color is somewhat reminiscent of Optimus Prime. The bumper, as in the construction series, is also divided into several elements - replacing one part will no longer result in a round sum.

Also, this truck is very durable and resistant to breakage. According to the service for repairing trucks in Tacoma tacomatruck.repair, for the last year only one such truck came to them for repair. And this shows how this Volvo model is resistant to breakage.

The door opening, as in all models of this series, with 3 positions of door locking: 40, 70 and 85 degrees, comfortable handrails, the upper steps are protected from dirt, so shoes can be left there without any problems. And who wants to dirty a great carpet in the salon ?!

In the interior, practically nothing has changed when compared with the Goleador, except that this instance was equipped with a multimedia screen with navigation and the skin color of the interior, in my opinion, became lighter, adjusting to the body color. The upper sleeping bag is transformed into a storage compartment, climate control with an air quality sensor and an anti-fogging system, a refrigerator, an autonomous unit - the maximum configuration is the maximum to create a comfortable environment for the driver who has been living in the car for weeks.

An interesting design solution is the red seat belts. It looks catchy and is more suitable for a sports car than for a truck tractor, if not for one "but" - so from a distance you can see that the driver is wearing a seatbelt. Safety always comes first.

Renault Trucks C 520 6 × 4

This tractor also deserves special attention. Heavy-duty XTREM transmission with gearbox cooler and many other heavy-duty features.

However, the salon hints that the car will work on the middle shoulder - a sleeper cab with 2 sleeping bags, a refrigerator, curtains and a pneumatic driver's seat with adjustable lumbar support. The multimedia system is also pleasing: there is a Roadpad navigation system equipped with an HGV GPS navigator, a Tom-Tom navigation system with route planning functions in 2-D or 3-D projections. The system is updated in real time.

Renault Trucks K 480 8 × 4 with Becema body

The body here attracts attention: 32 cubic meters, bottom - 8 mm / HARDOX 450, sides, front and tailgate - 5 mm / DOMEX 700, molded body made of wear-resistant steel with heated side slopes and front slope of the body walls by exhaust gases.

The day cabin is not luxurious; rather, there is a healthy asceticism and savings on unnecessary things. A pneumatic seat only for the driver, for example. The front bumper is also divided into 3 elements, the optics are protected by a grille, and the lower step is flexible and will not break on impact - everything you need to work reliably is present with interest. There is a ladder to climb into the body on the left side, and the tailgate has an automatic locking and unlocking mechanism.

# ONLINE shows over and over again that Renault Trucks can offer a solution for any client's request both in the construction segment and in the long-haul segment.
