Beneath (a short poem)

I found my people and my home under the sea.

Somewhere the sun dosent breathe.

The fishes blow against the shore, beneath the

Stars and underneath the earth.

I have no feet just muscle and scale of

Colourful breeze.

Full of beauty and couriousty, in excitement

I sing. To be found or not to be found in this

Magical land of sea is a thought, which sinks

Into the sand as the water watches me carefully.

My heart will go on as long as my eyes can see so

Every night i cry “oh Poseidon please give me a pair

Of feet”.if only i had known a mermaid is not one

Without the sea,i would have never changed into

A human u see! So i follow my soul and jump into

What was once my home. In joy i cry “ i have no feet...

Just muscle and scale of colourful breeze once more.

I swim into the unknown.
