Chapter 1, Hard Work

I'm Vivian. I'm a level 8 gymnast and I love any sport. But mostly Gymnastics. Gymnastics is the top sport for me. My most favorite event is bars. It's so fun! Then beam, floor, vault, I like ALL of them it's to hard to choose, but for the record, bars is my highest score marking event (10.00), cause I'm so posture-istic and pointy toe obsessed. My coach is coach Zikea. She is the best coach ever!!! My best teammate is Lorenia, she's as good as me! ( not on bars though.)

Today we finished our state meet. I won gold 1st place for every event! Which means I move on to regionals!!! And Lorenia got second on everything so she gets to go to regionals too. And only one more person made it. Liz! She's also another teammate of mine, she's not my best friend, like Lorenia, but, she is my friend. You should always be friends with your teammates. My coach HATES who judge others by the way the look. And listen. Hate is a very strong word, which means she dislikes it more than broken grips, which happened at the meet when Kianna was warming up on bars, but luckily she packed another pair to use. She fell on her face, making her cry, considering she was in the press handstand position on the high bar, which can definitely be creepy. She just barely held on, also the fact she got a 1 1/2 inch long rip across her hand. Also she banged her cheek off the bar and bruised it pretty bad. It's like green, purple, blue, black, ughhh!!!! It's kinda disgusting. But she wears makeup so Her bronzer can hide it fairly good. But it's DEFINETLY hard to not get your hopes up and fail instantly, I mean especially at a state meet. I mean seriously, who agrees?

Chapter 2, broken arm.

I'm in the grass just doing cartwheels, the casual. And I'm also doing back aerials, side aerials, AND........ Front aerials, what I consider pretty hard to do on ground.

Here we go.... CRKACK!

MOM, come here!!!!

Ambulance I need an ambulance!!

At the hospital|

I'm in the hospital, just got my arm X-rayed and the results came out as a broken arm.

|back home 12:30am|

I'm home I got a pink, purple, and blue mixed cast. At least it's off season(fall/winter time) so I don't really have to worry about missing out on all these summer activities.

Chapter 3 re- learning bars and such

I'm done with the cast and it's time to re-learn bars and my events for gymnastics. Let's go to the gym.

We did chin up pullovers and I did 17 of them during warm ups. I think I did well. And I did 12 kips, 13 back hip circles and front too. So I think I'm progressing faster than my older sister, Nastia Liukin when she broke her arm at the age of 10. On vault I did my front handspring level 5-7 and the yurchenko pike flip on vault 8-9. On beam I did my back walkover, my back handspring, and my roundoff full dismount. I think I'm ready for competion in 2 weeks, my first level 9 meet!

All I have to do is train for new dismounts on bars, and beam. And a double back full for floor.
