Charlie loves chewing gum I don’t know why he just does. He doesn’t play sports or play an instrument after school like most kids his age do. He chews chewing gum. When he has finished chewing Charlie puts his chewing gum on a chair labeled ‘Charlie’s chair for chewing gum’. It is disgusting because the chewing gum goes all moldy. Charlie doesn’t clean the chewing gum off the chair. He leaves it there for a very unlucky person to sit down on the chair without thinking (it has happened before).

Charlie has this dream that one day chewing chewing gum will become an Olympic sport.

Sorry to burst your bubble Charlie but that will never happen in 10579111233357917657124365 (whatever that number is) years. 

Charlie never brought his chewing gum to school m. OH NO! Chewing gum is forbidden in Charlie’s school. There are a lot of odd rules in Charlie’s school. These are only some of them........

RULES

1.You are not allowed to wear a neon orange jacket with blue flowers on it (Ms Finn).

2.Your stationary must be bought in stationary world (that is the shop my father owns)

3.Don’t call your principal names like chicken face (I do hear these things)

4.You can’t play hide and go seek at break time (James still hasn’t been found and we all fear the worst)

5.No dogs cats or any other hairy animal on the school grounds (I always hated those things)

6. Plea don’t bring chewing gum to school (Mr Doyle doesn’t like cleaning it up)

Every day when Charlie is ‘off the school grounds’ he puts a chewing gum into his mouth and off he goes home. When Charlie gets home the chewing gum has lost its flavor. Charlie puts it on the chair alongside the moldy gum. Then he puts another one in his mouth and does his homework. This happened for years until something terrible happened...........

THERE WAS A CHEWING GUM SHORTAGE

“NOOOO”cried Charlie when he heard this terrible news on television. What will I do he thought. 

Charlie went to bed still thinking about the CHEWING GUM SHORTAGE. Then an idea popped into his head. He thought about his chair for chewing gum. He jumped out of bed went to his chair for chewing gum and got some empty chewing gum boxes. He took some moldy gum off the chair and he got some sugar. He mixed them together. Then Charlie put it into an empty gum box.”Done”said Charlie.”Millionaire in minutes”. Charlie tried one of his chewing gums. He said it wasn’t bad but I think he was just saying that so he would become a millionaire. 

Of course Charlie tried to sell his chewing gum to his friends in school. That didn’t work out too well. All his friends said he was disgusting and they knew why there was a chewing gum shortage now.

Even though Charlie didn’t sell his chewing gum his dream that chewing chewing gum would become an Olympic sport. It came true in a year which was way off my estimate which was 105791112335791765712355 years.
