The forbidden forest 

Every morning before Ella goes to school her mother always tells her not to go near the forbidden forest. Ella doesn’t know why she always says that but she would rather not find out. Ella’s brother Max found out the bad way how the forbidden forest got its name. He was walking home from school one day and he decided to enter the forbidden forest. That was the last we heard of Max. 

Now back to the story. As Ella was walking to school one day she plucked up the courage to go into the forbidden forest. Ella had wanted to do this for days,weeks ,months and even years now. As she stepped over the fallen tree at the entrance of the she was starting to have second thoughts about this whole finding all the children who went into the forbidden forest and bring them home and live happily ever after thing. She was ignoring the thought that was taking over her mind that was saying don’t go into the forest Ella. 

After a lot of thinking time Ella finally went into the forest. As she was walking the sound of the leaves crunching beneath her even scared her. Ella heard birds she heard the wind but the sound she heard most was the cries of an old woman. Ella slowly approached where the old woman was only to find her shouting at a little boy. Not any little boy,it was Max.”What are you doing here”croaked the old woman.”Saving my little brother”Ella replied.”You are not getting Max or any other of the children for that matter”the old woman roared. Ella couldn’t believe her ears. Other children she thought.”So this is where all the children who come into the forest go”asked Ella. The old woman didn’t answer. Instead she walked down the lane into a cottage with Max with her. 

Ella quickly followed them into the cottage but that was a huge mistake. The second she touched the grass outside someone grabbed her. It was the woman. She threw Ella into a cage with some other children. Among them were Max and Zoey(Ella’s best friend). On the bottom of the cage there was a note that said:

Push this button and you will see,

Why you are here with me,

I am not angry or mean,

Or any bad thing in between,

Love your parents I know you do,

I will get them to visit you,

When you are in this cage so long,

You will here the doorbell go ding dong,

Ella,Max,Kate and Zoey.

John, Milly, Pat and Chloe.

I will set you free if you push that button for me.

Without thinking Ella pushed the button that lay beside the note on the bottom of the cage. Suddenly the floor opened up and swallowed up all the children. All the children started crying and screaming. That was the last of Ella,Max,Kate and Zoey. John,Milly,Pat and Chloe.

Remember if your mother tells you not to go somewhere don’t go there. Or you might end up like 

ELLA,MAX,KATE AND ZOEY.
