Prologue

Master Wu sat in his room, his eyes were closed while he meditated. Smoke wisped from burning candles that were in front of him and his head he saw someone wearing a grey and silver gi. The ninja also had sharp, silver fans that the ninja fanned around in a very dangerous way, finally the mysterious ninja sent one flying out of the smoke's vision. Just then the smoke changed and so did the picture in Master Wu's head. It changed to a figure wearing a black hooded cloak, when the figure turned around, it showed that he was holding a spear-tipped scepter that glowed a bright fiery red. Just then the red, spear-tipped scepter was suddenly hidden by large black wings that came from the figure. Again, the smoke changed allowing the picture in Wu's mind to change once more, this time it showed a silvery-grey opal gem with a silver chain hooked on it, making it a necklace. The gem glowed a bright light blue-ish silver color and suddenly Master Wu opened his eyes just as a voice said,

“ Prepare, for the end.” Master Wu looked at the smoke and said to himself,

“ Time is against us.”

Chapter 1: The New Destiny

Prism woke up to the sound of her alarm, her eyes fluttered open and she slowly turned herself over to see where she had to turn her alarm off on her phone. She slowly started to get up and get dressed into a black gi with a purple belt around her waist. Then she went to the bathroom and started to comb her golden-brown hair before putting it into a messy bun.

After she brushed her teeth she went down the hall of her apartment and into the combined living room, and dining room kitchen grabbed herself a bagel, and put it in the toaster. Just then, Prism heard another door open down the hall, she peeked from around the fridge and saw another girl with short, light brown hair and freckles, walking down the hall. The girl still wore her yellow T-shirt and black leggings that she wore for pajamas. Prism smiled and said,

“ Good Morning Sunshine.” The girl looked up from rubbing her eyes and groaned before saying,

“ Yeah, you too.”

“ Why aren't you at the library, Sarah?" Asked Prism. Sarah replied,

“ The library is closed due to some new renovations being added.” Prism nodded just as the bagel popped up. She grabbed a plate from a nearby cupboard and put the bagel on it before smearing strawberry cream cheese onto the bagel.

After Aria finished eating she quickly put together a gym bag of extra clothes to change into at the Karate school, then she put her shoes on and grabbed her phone.

Once she was about to leave she looked back at Sarah who was sitting on the couch, looking at her phone while eating a bowl of cereal, and said,

“ See you later.”

“ Bye.” Replied Sarah, not looking back at Prism, who then went out of the apartment and down the stairs to the main floor.

Once she was outside Prism quickly walked down the sidewalk and turned right onto Amber Road before continuing down the sidewalk to the large, blue-painted building with a large, red worded sign that read Prism Karate. Prism smiled up at the name before unlocking the door and entering, into the large space. To the right was a large check-in desk with a glass top that displayed multiple weapons that the customers could buy, while behind the desk on the wall were sparring gear, all made out of foam. To the left were white-painted, box-like cubbies for the students to put their shoes and gear in, then in front of the cubbies were bright yellow painted bench seats for parents and other students to sit and watch. Prism walked over to a light wooden door right next to the desk and opened it into a large room that looked similar to a teachers lounge, or a break room, with larger cubbies for the instructors to put their gear, while a little desk was in the far left corner of the room, with a computer on it. Prism quickly put her gym bag into one of the cubbies and then went back out to flip the sign on the door, changing it from Closed, to Open. Prism then went onto the blue mat with red tape that helped keep the floor together and pulled out a couple of tall standing targets that were in the shapes of cylinders. She then started getting the computers all online and making sure she had the right music playlist ready.

******

A little while later, a few students started showing up, in white gis with bright colored belts of either white, orange, yellow, green, or a bright sky blue. They were all about nine to twelve years old of age. Prism welcomed the kids and once they arrived on the mat, she started her usual stretching exercises with them.

After that, she started teaching them different kicks, blocks, and punches.

After a quick break they started up again with self-defense techniques, then everyone including Aria got dressed into some sparring gear, that was all made of foam. Foam, gloves, headgear, feet guards, stomach guards, and a mouth guard, that of course wasn't made of foam.

Finally, after the sparring class was finished, she sent the kids home, it was around lunchtime and Prism was extremely hungry. She bought herself a bag of Chex-mix from the vending machines in the corner of the school and drank from the water she packed with her. Prism was simply sitting on one of the benches drinking and eating her snack when suddenly, she heard a knock on the glass door. Prism looked and saw four boys, about the same age as herself, seventeen years old, all wearing gis and hoods. One was wearing red, with black, another black with a little bit of orange, the next was wearing white and black, and the last was wearing a deep blue with black. The person wearing the black and orange gi knocked on the door again, and Prism let them in asking,

“ May I help you?” They all flipped their hoods over their heads revealing their faces and Aria's eyes went wide as the white boy said,

“ Is your name Prism Swift by chance?” Prism just blinked as she realized who they were, till finally, she said,

“ Uh… you're the ninja?”

“ And you are…?” Prism blinked once more before saying,

“ Oh, yes, I am Prism Swift, umm, how can I help you?”

“ Well, first of all, I'm Kai, that's Zane, Cole, and mister blabber mouth over there is Jay.” Added the red ninja, as the blue ninja, Jay said,

“ Hey! I am not a blabbermouth!”

“ You kind of are, Jay.” Argued Cole with a plain expression on his face. Kai had wild brown hair, that stuck up from his head, and bright amber-orange eyes. Cole had black hair that sometimes fell over his dark brown eyes. Zane had white-ish silver hair and blue eyes, while Jay had somewhat curly brown hair and hazel brown eyes with freckles on his cheeks. Prism then asked,

“ So, is there something I can help you with?” Cole then said,

“ Uh, actually, you need to come with us.”

“ Don't worry you're not in trouble.” Added Zane. Prism blinked before saying,

“ Okay… just let me change and grab my bag." She quickly ran to the room next to the desk and walked inside, making sure to close it behind her.

The next time she came out, her golden-brown hair was down a little past her shoulders. Prism wore black leggings, a light lavender purple shirt with a grey moon on it, and a black sports jacket that wasn't zipped. Prism smiled and said,

“ Alright, now where are we going?” The ninjas led Prism out of the building and to the top of a nearby news station. Prism climbed up the ladder surprised at how windy it got. She finally made it to the highest part of the roof and saw a hand extending down to her, she looked up and saw it was from Jay who's eyes were expressing a smile that he gave her even though he had his blue hood over his face. Prism smiled and took his hand then stepped up onto the roof where the others were looking up above them. Prism followed their gaze to see a bright red ship, hovering above them, her eyes went wide as she asked,

“ Since when do ships fly!?"

“ You'll get used to it.” Replied Kai, before Cole said,

“ Alright, we will meet you up there.” He pointed to the anchor being lowered down to them and the ninjas slowly started to make their way up the chains. Prism smiled and shook her head, thinking, They haven't seen my gymnastics skills yet. With that, she quickly ran over to the anchor, and even with a gym bag over her shoulder she was able to climb up the large chain with ease, and she climbed faster than the boys who looked up at her with wide eyes of surprise.

Prism climbed over the side of the ship then looked down to see, Jay, coming up, followed by Cole, Zane, and lastly Kai.

“ How did you get up here so fast?” Asked Kai a little out of breath since he was trying to go as fast as Prism. She shrugged and said,

“ I do Gymnastics and Karate, I've been introduced to both strength and agility.” While the others left to go inside, Kai just stood there nodding, and said,

“ Huh.” Then he followed Prism into the bridge.

Once inside the bridge, Prism met both Nya and Lloyd who welcomed her warmly, after introductions, Prism finally asked,

“ So, uh, why am I here exactly?”

“ Master Wu wanted to see you about something." Replied Lloyd who was then allowed Prism to follow him below deck to Master Wu's quarters.

Once inside, Prism saw an old man with a long white beard sitting on the floor with candles burning in front of him. The door closed leaving Prism and Master Wu alone at first Prism just stood there thinking, uh… okay, is he meditating? At that moment Master Wu opened his eyes and stood up saying,

“ Hello Prism Swift, it is good to finally meet you.” Prism raised an eyebrow and asked,

“ So why am I here?” Master Wu smiled through his long white beard and said,

“ A new evil has risen and I have reason to believe that you are the Silver ninja of  Stealth.”
