MOVING TO THE COUNTRY- MORTGAGE CONSULTANCY

Moving to the country- Mortgage consultancy

Over the last year we have all been dealing with many new challenges due to Covid 19. At first most of us didn’t know how long things were going to last and this created uncertainty in more areas of our lives.

A year on and some areas are still under lockdowns and restricted conditions. It has been a hard and challenging year for most of us.

The house market seemed to freeze for a moment because there was no certainty in jobs and the future. No- one truly knew how much the Covid 19 pandemic would affect jobs, the economy and basically general life.

I think we all reached for the 3 month mortgage holiday scheme that came out to all home owners. This helped to ease some pressureand allowed us to have a little breath during a confusing time.

After a while things began to pick as we either started to work from home or travellingback to work. As we could work and earn again, things became easier financially and the future didn’t seem as bleak. With new protective measures in place, businesses could continue to produce.

Then the government came out with a new scheme, offering a stamp duty payment holiday for buyers. The scheme meant buyers could save as much as £15,000, if they were for example buying a property of £500,000. This was a great incentive to buy.

The government aimed to help buyers who have taken a financial hit because of the coronavirus crisis. Many people lost their jobs or had to stay home to home school their children. It was also intended to boost the property market and it did.

Mortgage consultantslike True Advice Financial Services, and their mortgage consultancy businesses became busy again, with more customers calling for advice on buying and to take advantage on the stamp duty holiday.

As the pandemic became more of a long term situation, more families and people in general started to question their lifestyles. Their way of living went under the microscope. Many started to look out of the cities they were living in and started dreaming of a quieter life in the country. Moving to be nearer to loved ones definitely became a more vital part of all of our lives.

House sales in the countryside and smaller towns, has been booming. Houses go on sale and within a few weeks they are sold.

With the stamp duty holiday providing a financial incentive and a better happier life in a new area, meant that the housing market was doing well.

Whether you are currently looking to buy investment properties or you want to move for an improved lifestyle, you will need good sound advice. You want to make sure you are making a sensible choice for you, your family and the future. The future can be bright. Take advantage of the help that is out there and do your research on what will be a wise investment for the future.

The thing we need to remember is that the housing market always fluctuates. It will drop again soon but we can be happy knowing it will boom again.

Now more than ever property is a way forward. You will always make a profit on property in the long run. So even when the stamp duty ends in April, I think the market will stay strong.
